Final Years and Tragic Death
After the trials, Jackson’s reputation is effectively destroyed and finances are in shambles. He soon wants help from his friend Bahrain’s Prince Salman Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He helped Michael Jackson to pay his legal and utility bills and invited him to as a personal guest in his country. Prince promises that he take care Jackson’s expenses and built a recording studio for him. In return, Jackson promises to cooperate on a new album for Al-Khalifa’s record label, create a stage play and write an autobiography. The work is done, not materialized. Yet, Jackson faces a $7 million lawsuit for call off his promises. He gets more financial straits for his Neverland Ranch loan in 2008.
In the same time, Jackson announces that he will be performing a series of concerts. Jackson remains a great figure of interest. Set to appear in London at the 02 Arena, beginning 8th July 2009. All of the tickets sell out in only 4 hours.
Bad is that Michael Jackson can’t get the experience the anticipated success of his comeback tour. Jackson suffers cardiac arrest in his Los Angeles home on 25th June 2009. His personal Doctor’s CPR attempt failed and rush to the hospital after 30 minute CPR attempts. That morning announced, “He died”. He was 50 years old.
Dr. Conrad Murray’s Investigation and Trial
The official cause of Jackson's death, coroner's report was released detailing a more heartache for the Jackson family arrived in February 2010. According to reports, the singer died from acute propofol intoxication. Overdose of sedatives midazolam, diazepam and incorporates lidocaine, which is triggered by a deadly cocktail of prescription drugs. Aided by his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson took drugs to help him sleep at night. Murray Jackson propofol to Jackson in which he referred to as a special addiction; was developed by the police, "Milk." Murray reportedly a 50-mg dose of propofol administered by the fourth evening, and around the time of his death, was attempting to wean the pop star off the drugs.
