Albert Einstein Biography

Synopsis

Albert Einstein is born in Ulm, Germany on 14th March 1879. Einstein develops the theories of general and special relativity and the particle and energy theory help make possible quantum mechanics and finally the atomic bomb.

Biography

Albert Einstein is the first child of a Jewish couple. His father name is Pauline Einstein and mother name is Hermann. His family was a secular Jewish family. His father worked as a salesman and engineer and his mother worked as the former Pauline Koch. Einstein had one sister, name Maja who born two years after him in November 1881.

In Germany and Italy, he pasted his childhood. Albert Einstein admits school at the Luitpold Gymnasium in Munich. He wasn’t very good in school. He didn’t like strict discipline. He also had speech challenges, but he feel a love to classical music and playing violin and that stay with him into rest his life. From youth age, Einstein was inquiry and inquisitiveness.

When he was 15, he left school and go with his family to Milan without taking any degree. To complete his missed degree, he attend a school in Switzerland and took successfully A - level.  He studies in physics and mathematics at the Federal Polytechnic Academy. He become a Swiss citizen and awarded a Ph. D. in 1905 from the University of Zurich, then he working at the Swiss patent office in Bern. He publishes five theoretical papers, which were to have a profound effect on the development of modern physics. Historian calls those years miracle years of Einstein’s career.

In 1st of these, he theorized that Light is made up of quanta (photons). This hypothesis gives him an important step to develop of quantum theory. Einstein does some examination and seems some solids emits electron when it struck with light. This effect called by him the Photoelectric effect. For that, he earns Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921.

In 2nd paper, he devise about a new method of counting and fixing the size of the atoms and subtlest parts in a given space. In 3rd paper, Einstein offers a mathematical solution for the constant erratic movement of subtlest parts suspended in a fluid that is known as Brownian motion.

Albert Einstein’s 4th innovative scientific work release in 1905 that he called ‘Special theory of relativity’. He theorized that time and space are not absolute, but it’s comparative to the motion of the observer. In this theory, light is always constant and it’s the limit speed of anybody having mass. In 5th paper, he shows mathematical explanation of special relativity, which is ‘mass and energy is equivalent and this equation is E=mc2’.
